Commitment to Future Care
As pioneers in home care, our research agenda Future Care allows us to improve our current services as well as create new models of care to deliver the best health outcomes for all Australians.
In 2022, we identified a need to reduce exposure to COVID-19 for vulnerable clients. This led to the development of a new virtual care model using smart glasses to support clients living remotely and provide clinical supervision and support in our NSW Palliative Care Service. This trial is now being integrated permanently into our NSW service and will be trialled in WA and QLD.
