This manual has been developed to provide
carers with relevant, up-to-date information and
guidelines on a range of health issues and
procedures. Each procedure is broken down step
by step for the carer to follow and for each
procedure a competency checklist is included for
use by the Registered Nurse (training) for
assessment.
The procedure contained within this manual
are based on current RDNS policies and
procedures. These may need to be modified
slightly to suit variations in specific
equipment in accordance with manufacturer's
guidelines and individual client needs.
There are two manuals available, Part A
covers basic procedures and Part B more advanced
procedures. They can be purchased separately or
as a set.
