The Education Centre, RDNS can customise an education program on any health or professional topic to meet the needs of your staff.
The education program developed may be as short as a one hour workshop; it may be a series of three hour workshops held fortnightly over a period of a month or more; or may encompass all staff education needs over an extended period of time such as 6 months or three years.
Programs that have been developed in the past have included, but are not limited to, the topics of: Infection control, Diabetes, Wound management, Stoma management, Palliative Care, Aged Care, Primary Health Care, Information Technology, Medication skills, Clinical skills, Oncology, Pharmacology, Continence promotion, Caring for carers, Dementia care.
The Education Centre has been involved in the development of successful corporate health programs for organisations such as Telstra and the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
The Education Centre has provided lecturers to tertiary institutions including the Flinders University of South Australia, the University of South Australia and TAFE.
The Education Centre has developed programs to suit the needs of staff employed within Aged Care Facilities, Private Hospitals, Public Hospitals, Community Care Service Providers, and Nursing Agencies.
Educational programs offered by The Education Centre can be provided in our own premises, at our clients premises (metropolitan, rural or interstate), by distance education or on-line.
