Free Will Service

We invite you to participate in the RDNS Foundation Free Will Service.

RDNS will pay up to $150 for the preparation of a single simple Will where a minimum specified bequest is made to the Royal District Nursing Service Foundation of $2,000. We believe that our Free Will Service will give people assistance and incentive to seek professional advice from a solicitor in their own location, the CBD, or during a home visit when they prepare or change their Will.

Payment by RDNS will be made on receipt of details of the bequest together with an invoice (solely in relation to the preparation of the Will) from the solicitor. If the invoice is for no more than $150 RDNS will meet the entire cost and if the invoice is for more than $150 we will contribute to the extent of $150.

We look forward to your participation in our Free Will Service to ensure the work of RDNS is supported into the future.

Interpreter Services

Interpreter services are available free of charge. To arrange for this service, please ring TIS (Telephone Interpreter Service) on 131 450 and ask them to ring RDNS on 1300 811 242.

• Often funeral arrangements are rushed- a time of stress and sorrow
• Make your wishes known to your family ask for a copy of My Wishes- to put with your personal possessions
• A donation in lieu of Flowers at a funeral is a wonderful way for friends and family to say thanks.
• Ask the Funeral Director to contact RDNS
• Ask the Funeral Home if they have RDNS “Gift in Memory” envelopes
• Ask for an RDNS representative to attend the funeral
• Request a “Gift in Memory Card”- We’ll send you one to put with your will and personal possessions register so you can plan ahead
