Make A Gift That Keeps On Giving

For well over 100 years the Royal District Nursing Service has been dedicated to
enhancing community nursing care and nursing research and education in
South Australia.

The RDNS Foundation works closely with the Nursing Service to help assemble a world class
group of nurses, researchers and educators. This talented group of people is dedicated to improving the quality of care provided to the people of Adelaide.

The generosity of those who have left the RDNS Foundation a gift in their will has enabled the organisation to plan for the future with capital development projects, education, research, vehicles and vital nursing equipment.

Making a gift that keeps on giving is what planned giving is all about. Your bequest can make all the difference to someone with a terminal illness who wants to spend their last days in the familiar surroundings of their own home.

Another way of helping is by arranging to have donations in lieu of flowers at a funeral.

The next of kin will receive acknowledgement of this generous gesture and will be provided with a list of names of those who have donated.

If you have already included the RDNS Foundation in your estate plan, we thank you sincerely. If not, please take the time to consider supporting us so that we can support future generations.

You and Your Will

RDNS recognises that a gift left in your will is an extremely meaningful and special gesture. Your will can give support and protection to people and organisations you love far beyond your lifetime. We encourage you to seek professional advice when drafting your will to ensure that your assets are distributed in the manner you wish.

Sample Wording for your Will

“I,….(your name)…give to the Royal District Nursing Service Foundation of SA Inc (RDNS) of 44 Greenhill Road, Wayville in the said State, for its general purposes …….. (insert sum of money, % of estate or property/item) and I direct that the receipt of the Chief Executive Officer or other proper officer can be a sufficient discharge to my trustees”
