Our vehicle fleet
Good transportation is crucial to the work of the RDNS nurses.
A key responsibility of the Foundation is to ensure the fleet of
vehicles is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In the last year,
our vehicle fleet travelled more than 4 million kilometres, using a
total of over 370,000 litres of fuel. Pretty impressive!
We have a fleet of over 200 Toyota Corollas
to meet the needs of our busy nurses. Keeping our nurses on the road
requires a lot of funding, so a big thank you to everyone who has donated
to the Foundation - your help ensures our nurses can continue their
fantastic work in the community.
Other assets
The Foundation is also responsible for the management of a number of RDNS properties. This includes nursing centres and our divisional offices at Glenside, Beverlry and Clarence Gardens.
