Careers - Home Support Services
Our Home Support Workers (care workers) have generally completed Certificate III in Aged Care Work or equivalent and hold a Senior First Aid Certificate. The work is varied with Home Support Workers providing a range of care and services to clients living in their own homes. Duties include personal care, respite, shopping, cleaning, simple meal preparation, and other activities intended to help people live safely and comfortably at home.
Our Domestic Workers provide indirect services to clients living at home. Responsibilities include general domestic duties such as cleaning and client laundry, simple meal preparation and basic gardening and home maintenance. Experience in general domestic duties and services to the elderly is highly regarded.
Home Support Workers and Domestic Workers must have a current driver’s licence and a reliable motor
vehicle which is appropriately insured (Comprehensive or Third Party Property
Insurance).
